Is there any manicure & pedicure school in Singapore? Any Nail design courses conducted elsewhere?

my friend is currently trying to learn it hopefully she could master it %26amp; make a living with this skill. If you could advise how best someone with primary education background can start with, what is the course lenght or what it takes before someone can become professional enough to make a living. There are various organisations providing certificate in manicure and pedicure. Some are in-house, some are international. ITE also has a short course in it.

Refer to the Skills Development Fund website below and search under courses under manicure or nail. You will find a list of courses that will be heavily subsidised up to 80% if the employer sponsors you for training.

But of cos employers may not want to sponsor you before you're trained. The Skills Redevelopment Programme would be able to assist. Manicure courses are also listed there and I believe they can help in employment too.
