yeah there is definitely financial help that you can get towards learning new skills, my sister did a beauty therapy course when she was on job seekers and the government helped to pay for all the equipment she needed and everything.

Is your partner working, if not then you should be entitled to income support instead of job seekers. They tried making me claim job seekers just to find that i was entitled to income support the whole time. Ring up or go to your local job centre and find out. If you are entitled to job seekers allowance, your nail course will be funded by your local college and you will also be entitled to £500 maternity grant for your cot and pram. Well you get just over £90 a fortnight so why don't you keep half of it aside each payment and save it for the course. You will still have enough left over for bump :)
