I want to do an intensive nail course, what qualifications do i need to make sure they provide?

i want to make sure that i can get insurance and have a real qualification not just a made up certificate that means nothing.

Any one have any suggestions on where to go to have the course?I want to do an intensive nail course, what qualifications do i need to make sure they provide?
Right, you can either do the college (nvq) route...which is long and often you're taught wih the lower end products. Or, do what I did and train with a company.

I trained with Creative Nail Design; they have academies all over the world (I did mine in Loughton, just outside of London). It's a 5 day course, you get your kit included, full training is given with a practical and written exam at the end.

You cannot obtain this certificate without applying for your insirance, which is fab cos basically you give them the cheque and they do it all for you through Pro-Beauty. My insurance was roughly 拢35 for a year.

You can of course obtain your own insurance, pro-beauty is the best one I found though.

There are many other nail companies that provide training, try

EZ Flow

NSI

Odessey Nail Systems

Millenium Nails

Young Nails

OPI

The Edge/Grafton

Creative Nail and EZ Flow are my faves.

Depends what you mean by ';real'; qualification.

Everyone who runs a course produces their own certificate.

There is no standard one.

No offence, but you can learn all you need to know in a couple of weeks, it's not rocket science.
The first person is right. You won't have something to worry about. I don't think you need a high school diploma to get into that course, just the money to pay for it.
i don't know where u r but i found a really good beauty school for u in central london . hope it helps.
