is the course hard as i have no previous experience. its a 10 week course 1 nicght a week which is 2 hours at the end i will get a diplma if i pass. would i really be able to be a nail tecnition in 10 weeks thank youIm just about to start a nail course acrylics gels etc?
If you live in the U.S., you will have to pass your state board exams prior to becoming a licensed nail technician. The boards are taken upon completion of your nail training program. It depends on your state, but generally these tests are given only a few times a year - at the most.
Edit: You are going 2 hours a week for 10 weeks? If so, that's only 20 hours in all. My advice is to check your state's requirements for the number of hours you must have completed in training in order to take the boards. It varies but the lowest number of hours I've seen is 100 hours of training - in Massachusetts. Many states require 400 hours or more of training. You can find that information here:
