Wanting to go to take nail courses while being 25 weeks pregnant.?

Im in my second trimester now and I have lately been getting manicures, pedicures, and acrylics. Mind you I do wear a mask when i get acrylics just incase. Even tho Ive heard different things about it effecting my baby. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to go to school for nail? I would think as long as I am careful and try to wear a mask I should be good..Wanting to go to take nail courses while being 25 weeks pregnant.?
I'm 21 weeks pregnant and I'm switching my cosmetology classes to manicuring in two weeks! I am very excited! Ive been pregnant the whole time I was in cos AND got my estheticians license while I was pregnant with my first-my daughter is perfect! Also, my current baby is developing just fine according to my doctor. Just make sure the area you are working in is well ventilated. (Bring a mini fan perhaps). A mask will help with flying particles as well. Furthermore, make sure you sanitize your implements properly and use only yours while practicing. Maybe even have a separate set you use only on clients. Just be extra careful! One more thing when I asked my doctor about getting acrylic nails put on he said that there are women who have been in the industry for years and they are around it all day long while pregnant-they are fine! You will do great. And don't listen to the moron who said there is no money in nails unless you are Vietnamese. There are plenty of excellent opportunities out there! I wish you the best of luck! I would NOT do this if I were you as the acrylic can make you and the baby sick. The masks do not protect you from getting it on you and you will still breath the chemical in with or without the mask. The mask don't fully protect you


Not to mention that with any course like this there is a chance of bacterial infection which will harm you and your unborn baby
Of course, everything has its dangers, but I imagine that all these women that are already in the industry have had children while working at a nail salon and school. Just take proper precautions and go for your regular check ups! You will be fine! P.S. My manicurist just has a health 3 month old and she has been in the industry 4 years....
Ideally you should wait until after your pregnancy, but it's your body, your fetus, and your decision what risks you want to take.
Those mask are only particulate filtering masks, they won't filter the harmful acetone fume inhalation.
well i went to get my nails done few mnths ago and this chinese lady was about to pop and she was still doing acurlic nails with a mask over her face..
Wait a few weeks. But if you are not Vietnamese there is no money in nails.
